I asked someone, “What is the brand color of Kenwood?’ and he didn’t know that, but what he did tell me was that whenever a Kenwood commercial starts, he knows it’s a Kenwood ad in the first few seconds because of its emotional tonality.
To me that consistency of brand attributes and communication tone is the real success for any brand. I am proud of being part of the process of building this brand for the last 11 years. And it was not that difficult when the creative and the brand team stayed true to their job and worked in perfect sync. Because it eventually becomes rewarding for both parties in terms of emotional and financial returns. What else can you expect from a piece of communication?
This is probably the brand that acquired 100 times more free digital media space, including WhatsApp, compared to the paid one. RTB, just write Kenwood ads on YouTube. This is the power of creativity.
